This series of block prints plays with repetition of shapes and layering to create a sense of dynamic movement.
These cyanotypes celebrate the flora and fauna of Southern California. Printed on watercolor paper, with soft blue midtones, they resemble watercolor paintings, or colored pencil drawings as much as photographs.
These prints celebrate the local wildlife in Southern California. These creatures share our urban and suburban environment, reminding me that we are never separate from the natural world.
This series of cyanotypes were created using letter-shaped ice cubes and pressed flowers. The money raised from the sale was donated to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, Los Angeles (CHIRLA)
