I am a printmaker and alternative photographer.  My artwork is illustrative and often playful.  I create prints that are bold and graphic, with clean lines and shapes.  I enjoy using repetition and layering to build compositions filled with movement.  I also utilize alternative photography methods, like cyanotype, to capture the delicacy of the natural world, as well as to create composite images with photographic negatives and physical items.  

My artwork is rooted in Southern California.  I am inspired by the native and invasive species that surround us, often inhabiting the spaces we have built for ourselves.  When I began to pay attention to the birds in my environment, the suburbs were full of life and diversity.  The anonymous brown birds in the front yard became house finches and towhees, each living distinct existences with their own little dramas.  The texture of life gathered more depth and became more vivid.  I aim to celebrate these small moments of connection with the natural world and explore the way our lives are inextricably interwoven.  

My prints have been shown internationally as part of the group printmaking show, The Paper Boat Project.  Most recently, two of my prints were included in the juried show Mini Print LA 2026 in Los Angeles.
